    I’m selling a used vintage 16 size Elgin pocket watch. The watch has 17 jewels and is lever set. The movement has gold-colored screws and a faux doble sunk dial. The watch is running and keeping decent time. The watch movement is housed in a white bas metal case. According to the serial number (22962828) the estimated production year is 1920.
    The dial is signed Montgomery Brothers Los Angeles California.
    I looked up the name and Montgomery Bros, was founded in the early 1880’s and was the most successful jewelry store on the west coast. They were known for their designs and workmanship.
